The ACM1281U-C7 USB contactless reader module with a SAM slot is designed based on 13.56 MHz technology for quick and easy integration into embedded systems.
The ACM1281U-C7 supports ISO 14443 Parts 1-4 Type A and B cards, as well as MIFARE® Classic. It offers a card reading distance of up to 50 mm (depending on the card type). Additionally, it features an integrated SAM (Secure Access Module) slot compliant with ISO 7816, which can be used with SAM cards for high-level security in contactless transactions.
The ACM1281U-C7 comes with an onboard integrated antenna and supports USB firmware upgradeability and extended APDU. It supports a maximum communication speed of 848 kbps and also includes a detachable USB cable. This reader module is ideal for demanding contactless smart card applications, such as automatic payment systems, kiosks, gaming machines, and other integrated systems.
