The ACM1281S-C7 is a contactless reader module with a SAM slot, designed based on 13.56 MHz technology for quick and easy integration into embedded systems. It is a plug-and-play device that does not require any driver installation.
The ACM1281S-C7 supports ISO 14443 Parts 1-4 Type A and B cards, as well as MIFARE® Classic. It has a reading range of up to 50 mm (depending on the card type). Additionally, it features an integrated SAM (Secure Access Module) slot compliant with ISO 7816, which can be used with SAM cards to provide high-level security for contactless transactions.
This reader module includes an onboard integrated antenna and comes with an optional serial cable. It also offers features such as USB firmware upgradeability and support for extended APDU. Furthermore, the ACM1281S-C7 uses high-speed communication for contactless cards (up to 848 kbps), making it suitable for demanding applications. Its RS232 serial interface can accommodate multiple devices, such as automatic payment systems, kiosks, gaming machines, and other integrated systems with various serial ports.
