The ACR1281U-C2 UID Card Reader is a contactless reader that can automatically and efficiently retrieve the Unique Identifier (UID) of any contactless card complying with ISO 14443 Parts 1-4 Type A and B.
When a contactless card (such as a MIFARE card) is presented, the ACR1281U-C2 will retrieve the card’s UID and automatically return it to the PC. The reader allows direct output of the UID to any text editor, such as Notepad, MS Excel, MS Word, etc. With the UID, cardholders can be accurately identified in various applications, such as identity verification, time and attendance tracking, and access control. The ACR1281U-C2 also features anti-collision to ensure that only one card is accessed when multiple cards are presented simultaneously.
As the ACR1281U-C2 adheres to the Human Interface Device (HID) standard, it minimizes driver installation issues during integration into a PC environment. It supports most operating systems, including Microsoft® Windows, Linux, and other embedded systems.
