The NFC reader of WalletMate Mobile Wallet is designed to support mobile NFC applications. Certified by the Value Added Service (VAS) protocols of Apple and Google, WalletMate provides an optimal cardless user experience by supporting various types of virtual cards, such as loyalty cards, tickets, and employee/student ID cards on both iOS and Android platforms. With the VAS protocol, users can enjoy a fast and convenient tap-to-move experience, as the terminal server can select a specific wallet card from the user’s mobile phone through a unique merchant ID.
WalletMate is developed based on 13.56MHz and supports ISO 14443 Type A and B cards, MIFARE®, FeliCa, and NFC cards complying with ISO 18092. It is certified by the NFC Forum, allowing it to have three NFC modes: card reader/writer, card emulation, and peer-to-peer communication.
Compatible with both CCID and PC/SC, this plug-and-play USB NFC device enables interaction with various devices and applications. Therefore, it is ideal for integration into different systems to support both physical smart cards and virtual wallet cards.
WalletMate comes with an optional stand to hold the reader at an optimal angle, making it easy for users to tap mobile phones, contactless cards, or NFC-enabled devices onto WalletMate.
Additionally, WalletMate is supported by the ACS VAS Test Tool, developed by Advanced Card Systems Ltd. (ACS), which is designed to test Apple Pay Pass and Google Pay Pass cards with NFC support on WalletMate. If you wish to use ACS VAS.
