ACS’s PocketKey provides users with a secure and fast password-free online login experience. It enables individuals, businesses, and government agencies to replace passwords with multi-factor or two-factor authentication, reducing reliance on static passwords.
The device is FIDO® certified by the FIDO Alliance and complies with FIDO U2F and FIDO2 protocols. Its cryptographic security model eliminates the risks of phishing, password/identity theft, and replay attacks. User tracking can also be prevented by storing FIDO cryptographic keys on the device and generating unique keys for each website.
PocketKey is available in USB Type-A format and features a mechanical switch. The switch is necessary to confirm the presence of the user, ensuring that the user is physically present to interact with the application.
It is compatible with operating systems such as Windows®, Linux®, macOS, and AndroidTM, as well as major web browsers including ChromeTM, Safari®, Microsoft Edge®, and Firefox®.
