Matica’s advanced technology delivers unprecedented quality and industrial laser engraving technology in a standalone desktop system. Compact and lightweight (under 32 kg), it is expandable and capable of handling multiple card types.
In an era requiring high security, Matica’s LES8000 laser engraving system targets national-level management markets. Designed to assist government agencies in managing card issuance at branches or in offices, the LES8000 is perfect for applications such as driver’s licenses, national ID cards, visas, and motorcycle licenses.
The LES8000 enables parallel processing for maximum throughput: barcode reading encoders, laser engraving, and single or dual lamination. Multiple feed modules allow for managing several card types simultaneously on a production line. The modular system can add up to 4 input trays (FEM), increasing card storage from 350 to 1,400 cards without interrupting production. This makes it one of the fastest solutions available on the market today.
Compared to a centralized issuance system, the LES8000 features a very compact design. The modules are distinct for ease of upgrade when customers want to add or remove modules. The LES8000 laser module offers additional security options, such as MLI and CLI, tactile and non-tactile engraving.
Thanks to its single-wire IP connection and embedded computer for easy setup and operation, integration poses no difficulties. The security features of this solution include different physical and electronic locks to prevent unauthorized access.
