Building on the expertise of XID Retransfer technology, this printer includes features like encoding and lamination, with a compact design that provides reliability, performance, and the ability to produce durable and secure cards. It achieves near-photo quality printing, even on the uneven surfaces of smart cards.
With retransfer printing technology, the printer can print on a variety of card materials like PVC, ABS, PET, hybrid card structures, and even Polycarbonate, ensuring long-lasting color quality that resists fading. The lockable card input tray, along with the separate cartridges for ribbons and films, enables quick and easy replacement.
The XID8300 is adaptable to your specific requirements and can be upgraded based on customer needs. Options for magnetic stripe, contact IC, and smart card encoding allow you to meet additional card functionality requirements. Extend card durability and security by connecting the printer to EDIsecure® Inline Lamination Modules: the ILM-LS for single-sided lamination and ILM-DS for dual-sided lamination.
For enhanced security, the printer includes multiple features such as electronic security locks, Kensington lock, UV dye-sublimation ribbons for additional security layers, IPSEC for encrypted data transmission over networks, and black data erasure on used supplies, protecting the environment and guarding against counterfeit cards and unauthorized use of personal information.
