XID8600 Retransfer Printer

The XID8600 printer is the premium model of Matica’s proven XID series, featuring ultra-high resolution of 600 dpi for card printing. This is ideal for meeting the growing demand for secure printing in ambitious ID card applications, such as national ID projects, driver’s license issuance, and similar initiatives. Since most of these projects require personalization on both sides of the card, the XID8600 comes with an integrated module built into the standard model.

Ultra-High Resolution

• The extremely high resolution of 600 dpi enables sharp printing of compact characters, with a minimum character size of 1.3 pt. High-quality printing for security features and intricate graphic elements can be achieved.

Customization and Flexibility

• As the flagship model of the series, the XID8600 can be configured and customized for all types of individual requirements. A range of XID encoding modules, including smart card encoders (both contactless and contact) and magnetic stripe encoders, ensure flexibility. High-quality printing is possible on various card materials such as PVC, ABS, and even polycarbonate. Upon request, the XID8600 can be connected to ILM-LS or ILM-DS lamination modules for front and/or back lamination of the cards for additional protection or enhanced surface resistance against wear or other physical impacts.

Security Features

• The printer solution comes equipped with a variety of standard security features such as electronic locks, Kensington locks, and IPsec data encryption locks, providing a secure environment for card issuance projects.
